Many car owners may suddenly notice that the caliper piston is not rebounding while driving, and they don't know what to do. So what should they do if the caliper piston is not rebounding?
1. Return spring losing elasticity or breaking: If the caliper spring is used too hard or for too long, it can cause the spring to lose elasticity or break. This repair is relatively simple, just replace the return spring.
2. The piston of the caliper is stuck, causing braking obstruction. The caliper is fixed and cannot move. When braking, the caliper clamps the brake disc to complete the braking effect. If the caliper is stuck, it cannot rebound, and it needs to be replaced.
3. If the fixing or installation of the rear bearing is incorrect, worn, dry, or damaged, and the bearing encounters these situations, the entire vehicle will not coordinate, then the brake pads may appear in an inappropriate position, resulting in the caliper piston not rebounding.
If you find that the caliper piston does not rebound, you must go to the 4S store for repair in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary trouble.
